30 weeks and 1 day

Well, it's been an exciting day in the our world.  I've gotten lots of packing done thanks to Mom's help this weekend.  Still more to do but a major dent has been made.  The cats have successfully been moved so that's always a bonus.  We are settling in well but there is still much to do before the big day in April!

Just saw Dr. Slocumb and we have quite the update today.  At the 18 week u/s there was a small calcification showing on Blueberry's heart so today we took a second peek to make sure it hadn't gotten any larger.  Great news!  It is still a tiny speck and is nothing to worry about from this point further!  Blueberry was sleeping when we got started but was not a fan of being poked and photographed so she promptly woke up and starting kicking the u/s wand.  He is weighing in at 3 lbs and 14 oz so that only confirms what I knew...there is a big baby on board here.  Unfortunately, she is breech and running out of room quickly.  There is still plenty of time to turn but we'll have to see how nature runs its course.  I know that I will not be going through the process to try and turn this big baby...I've heard it is NOT pleasant.  Dr. S said that if I experience about 15-20 minutes of intense pressure then I can be reasonably sure he's turned.  Joy.  Anyway, I guess those are pirouettes she's practicing on my bladder and not a right hook.  I passed my gestational diabetes test so YEAH!!!  I'm super happy about that.  I guess Blueberry just really likes sweets!  Heartbeat was good, all the arms and legs are still in the right place and she's still adorable.

For the record, we are still not finding out the gender.  I just use them interchangeably to keep us all guessing.  Start the pools now because we are T-minus 10 weeks (although it could be a little earlier if Blueberry doesn't get into position.)

So, holy cow!  We are getting closer to actually meeting Blueberry!  Thank you for your continued prayers and love and support.  We'll have a baby before you know it!
