She did! We saw Dr. Slocumb on Monday and Blueberry is head down, butt up and ready to go! That was probably our last glimpse of the sweet baby in utero. Hard to believe that the next time we see her will be in our arms. And that isn't all that far away! Only 5 weeks as of yesterday. We can't wait to kiss those little feet that are currently wreaking havoc on my lungs and rib cage. Most of the time Blueberry is scooched lower which makes breathing so much easier. Aunt Sissy had much fun watching his heels poke out of my tummy this weekend. It definitely looks like an alien has taken over at times.
Other than being REALLY pregnant I'm feeling great. I tire out pretty quickly now but I have been able to manage that pretty easily. I'm still a sucker for the sweets but thankfully that is subsiding a little. Orange juice is my favorite thing in the world to drink right now and I could easily drink a gallon in about two days if I let myself. For those who will understand, no, I have not wanted the first banana. Not even once.
Our friends gave us the most wonderful baby shower last night. It was so much fun and we got so many cute things! I can't wait to dress this little one up! The house is falling into shape and hopefully we'll have a nursery before we have a baby. E is excited about being a big sister but was somewhat disappointed to learn that she couldn't name the baby. She really wants a baby brother. Only time will tell. We are really looking forward to her visit in April!
So that's the Blueberry update for now. I go back to the doctor in two weeks! Shortly after that we'll have a baby!
